STOP THESE BILL's NOW!
Mood:  don't ask
Topic: Legislation
STOP THESE BILL's NOW! (Do not re-vote these Bill Sponsors back into office either!)-No wonder politicians want to change the re-election from 2 years to 4 years. With Bill's like these, they should not be re-elected!
South Carolina Legislative Information Tracking System ?
This system is designed to allow users to track legislative information via the methods described at the web site. http://www.scstatehouse.net/html-pages/resources.html

S. 13 - Teacher Protection Act of 2005 (The real intent looks to keep the teachers from being held accountable for their own actions! There are laws on the books that hold "all people accountable" in a court of law. This Bill looks to be a catch 22 protection for cases like: (Teacher rapes student and student fights back. Teacher walks free?) Why is this Bill limited to Teachers? Why not parents too? After all, it is our DSS policies & laws that limit the parents ability to punish a child, which has resulted in out of control children. Parents get charged with abuse without touching the child, when attempting to raise their child by the law guidelines. Not our fault DSS laws are wrong. They created the out of control children mess. Parents have no protections, so why should teachers? How about changing some of DSS's policies. The out of control chillies issue will likely get fixed. http://www.scstatehouse.net/cgi-bin/web_bh10.exe?bill1=13&session=116

S. 25 - TO PROHIBIT THE ISSUANCE OF A DRIVER'S LICENSE TO A PERSON SEVENTEEN YEARS OF AGE OR UNDER http://www.scstatehouse.net/cgi-bin/web_bh10.exe?bill1=25&session=116 I was not aware that the DMV was in the "Education" business. Don't you love the Nazi Germany practices, attempting to be incorp. into our lives?

S. 26 - STUDENT COMMITTING ASSAULT AND BATTERY AGAINST A PERSON AFFILIATED WITH A SCHOOL, TO CHANGE THE OFFENSE FROM A MISDEMEANOR TO A FELONY - Excuse me? A 21 year old beats up a 15 year old that is transported to the ER Room, (I can prove this!) and gets 2 years suspended sentance. This same 21 year avoided being arrested for a week for this attack. Once found, he was caught with a female minor, having sex and smoking dope. So why on earth should a minor child be charged with a felony? How about the "parents start suing the state for failing to educate, failing to protect, failing to allow the parents to raise their children the "legal corp. punishment way, without fear of DSS barrage, which will allow the real issue to be fixed! http://www.scstatehouse.net/cgi-bin/web_bh10.exe?bill1=26&session=116

S. 68 - RELATING TO ELIGIBILITY FOR A LIFE SCHOLARSHIP, SO AS TO PROVIDE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A HOME SCHOOLED STUDENT TO RECEIVE A LIFE SCHOLARSHIP -"(D)For home school students and students whose high school graduating class is less than fifty students, the Commission on Higher Education may define alternative criteria for students to meet the requirement of item (3). A home school student shall meet the requirements of items (1) and (2).
Public schools need to decide if they want to keep the home school and private school tax dollars (Inclusive of the federal/state voucher funding they are obtaining for the "home schooled students", and rank these gifted students. Or, would they like to loose said funding, since they are getting paid to do nothing with their tax dollars? Would State Dept. of Ed care to openly state what they tell us, when the school officials act illegally? (e.g "There is nothing we can do and the association should send out emails to said officials, whom have no authority of the "public school.") Maybe the schools need to research what worked a generation ago. Remember when a child actually learned how to sound a word out? It does not take a college diploma to see or know what is wrong with the system. IT's Broke people, and now they want protection? Why are these officials blaming the parents? The "JOB TITLE", which they do get paid to do, is EDUCATE, correct? Get another job and try telling your boss, "Boss man, your gonna pay me to do nothing, while you do my job, which you hired me to do in the first place. If the job is not done, it's your fault for being stupid enough for hiring me." Seems to me that person would be fired. We are an "at will firing" state, correct? There are "mini police stations set up in our public schools, correct? "All the schools visited last month have mini-police stations in them." Remeber the memo letters sent out to parents a couple of years back and the ETV broadcast a couple of weeks ago, and the newest "test" flash that runs on TV 2? Police state-martial law, code red? Our State Constitution protects us from martial law, correct? Call me paranoid all you want. At least I am paying attention in the "real world" class room. Allow the parents to be the parents at home. Do you even have a clue how many foster adoptive parents refuse to take 12 year old children? I wonder why that is?....Not really, I already know the answer. Too bad the Federal Funding and a dollar Bill is more important than allowing the parents to discipline.http://www.scstatehouse.net/sess116_2005-2006/bills/68.htm

S. 72 - RELATING TO SCHOOL ATTENDANCE CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ISSUANCE OF CONDITIONAL AND SPECIAL RESTRICTED DRIVER'S LICENSES, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THESE AND ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS SHALL APPLY TO THE ISSUANCE OR REINSTATEMENT OF A BEGINNER'S PERMIT, CONDITIONAL DRIVER'S LICENSE, SPECIAL RESTRICTED DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND A REGULAR DRIVER'S LICENSE ISSUED TO A PERSON LESS THAN SEVENTEEN YEARS OF AGE,

I was not aware that the DMV was in the "Education" business. Don't you love the Nazi Germany practices, attempting to be incorp. into our lives?

S. 415 - Watch this Bill's text - http://www.scstatehouse.net/sess116_2005-2006/bills/401.htm All these Bill's tell me is: Home educated students are surpassing the public educated students, and the public schools are attempting to keep them from furthering their education.

H. 3652 - PUT PARENTS IN CHARGE ACT - https://nbhsa.tripod.com/01.htm Need I debate?

H. 3394 - http://www.scstatehouse.net/sess116_2005-2006/bills/3394.htmSO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PUBLIC SCHOOL SHALL PROVIDE A PARENT, UPON REQUEST, A COMPLETE HOME SCHOOLING INFORMATION PACKAGE AND PROVIDE WHAT MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE INFORMATION.
This Bill needs to be placed under SC ST SEC 59-65-40 or KILLED ALL TOGETHER!

H. 3422 - SO AS TO EXCLUDE AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS A HOPE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT FROM THE DEFINITION OF "STUDENT". http://www.scstatehouse.net/sess116_2005-2006/bills/3422.htm GOT TO BE KILLED ASAP
