South Carolina Put Parents In Charge ActSouth Carolina Put Parents In Charge Act - a.k.a. PPIC Bill #

(SCRG) South Carolinians for Responsible Government Is Not Telling You This!

January 05, 2006 - Florida's Supreme Court has struck down the state's school voucher system.
The court says the nation's first statewide system that allows some children to attend private schools at taxpayer expense violates the state's Constitution. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/01/05/national/05cnd-vouchers.html?hp&ex=1136523600&en=8f038bcce0ad6ac0&ei=5094&partner=homepage

Testing

Testing of 3rd option home schools is added to this Bill version.
See section Section 12-18-930. (A)(1) In addition to the annual report as provided in Section 12-18-920, the State Budget and Control Board shall provide for a long-term evaluation of the impact of this chapter.
The evaluation must be conducted by contract with one or more qualified persons or entities with previous experience evaluating school choice programs and must be conducted for a minimum of twelve years.
The evaluation must include an “assessment” of the: (c) “academic performance” of public school and “independent school students”; The only way to determine this section is by testing! And it will be required…
Who decides what test; and Testing is not required under SC ST SEC 59-65-47. (SC's PACT Test has not kept
SC from ranking 50th in the nation!)  Testing is the SC education problem!  SC is too busy teaching to a test and not the subject!
Keep your memorize the word policy!  Home schools prefer the phonics method.  Try fixing the real problem and stop trying to brake what home schooling has fixed!)
p.s. - The next time someone decides to blame the parent for the child's lack of education, whom has been in the "testing" public school system most of their life, try firing the teacher or the bureaucrats that limit the educator with their policies! No employee keeps a job by telling their employer, "Your going to do my job for me and give me a paycheck!"  The boss would fire them!
Now that the parent has fired the educators for failing their children, bureaucrats decide to write a bogus Bill, which attempts to limit the parents ability to "REMAIN IN CHARGE OF OUR CHILDREN!  STOP WASTING OUR TAX DOLLARS AND VALUABLE TIME!
Home schooling has fixed the bureaucratic problem! (And it does not take a college education to accomplish it either!)

Why not a South Carolinian registrar?) Why are the Lobbyists labeled SC CITIZENS FOR RESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT instead of South Carolinians for Responsible Government? These are the Lobbyists for SCRG aren't they? If not, please correct me.
